    A Permanent Senior Pharmacist (Clinical Specialist - Informatics) post at Cork University Maternity Hospital has been advertised on the HSE Jobs page.  This post is based at Cork University Hospital Pharmacy department and has a local (CUMH) and National MNCMS remit. 

    Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH) is co-located with Cork University Hospital. The post-holder will be a member of the extended Cork University Hospital Pharmacy team who provide pharmacy services to the CUH campus including CUMH.

    CUMH is a tertiary referral centre for obstetrics, gynaecology and neonatology services. The obstetrics service averages 7000-8000 deliveries annually, while the gynaecology service cares for gynaecology, gynae-oncology and palliative patients.

    CUMH has a Level 3 neonatal unit providing all aspects of medical care for sick and premature infants. The unit has 44 cots with 10-12 NICU cots, 4-6 intermediate care beds and upwards of 26 SCBU cots.

    The Clinical Informatics Pharmacist has a dual role, as local subject matter expert for neonatal, obstetrics & gynaecology medications functionality on the  MN-CMS Cerner system, as well as being a key member of the national MN-CMS Meds team.
