Senior Grade Pharmacist

 Specified Purpose Contract (12 - month contract)

Applications are invited for the above position from suitably qualified and experienced pharmacists. The successful candidate will participate in the daily operations of our busy Pharmacy Department and work closely with hospital Consultants and the Chief Pharmacist to carry out data collection and audit, policy development and implementation and education for multidisciplinary teams.  

The ideal candidate will on the date of appointment:

• Be registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Previous work experience as a Senior Pharmacist
• Excellent organisational, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Possess excellent IT skills with a proficient working knowledge of programs
• Minimum three years post registration hospital experience essential
• Antimicrobial experience highly desirable
