    1.0WTE (37 hours)

    Temporary Specified Purpose (approx. 6 months)

    An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pharmacy Department of Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services for an enthusiastic pharmacist seeking to obtain hospital-based experience. The successful candidate will work within the pharmacy team to ensure the safe, efficient and effective provision of dispensary, clinical and medicines information pharmacy services for residents and patients across both the Harold’s Cross and the Blackrock sites of Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services. The post holder will work within the pharmacy team to assist in the ongoing development of a quality, patient-centred pharmacy service.

    Essential Requirements

    Qualifications

    ·  Be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (The Pharmacy Regulator) or be entitled to be so registered.

    Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6w was founded in 1879 by the Sisters of Charity. We provide multi-disciplinary services in (a) Specialist Palliative Care incorporating In–patient, Day Hospice and Community Specialist Palliative Care Services, across our Harold’s Cross & Blackrock Hospice sites; (b) Care of the Older Person – Residential & Community Reablement Services; (c) Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases Unit.
