    Applications are sought for the permanent position of Chief II Pharmacist - Dispensary Services Manager in the Pharmacy Department of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. 

    Role Summary - Subject to the direction and supervision of the Head of Pharmacy Services, the Dispensary Services Manager is responsible for providing a safe, efficient drug distribution service throughout the hospital, for providing a staff and outpatient prescription service and for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dispensary. The Dispensary Service Manager is one of six service managers within the Pharmacy Department and manages a range of pharmacy dispensary staff as well as liasing with other staff members within and external to the department. The manager is the licensed Supervising Pharmacist ensuring compliance with PSI licensing regulations, record keeping, compliance with stock returns, shelf life, storage and safe keeping, security, controlled drug legislation and documentation.
