If you are a hospital pharmacist, working in Ireland you are welcome to join the HPAI. Employed pharmacists must have started the membership process to the FÓRSA union at the time of applying to join the HPAI. You can join FÓRSA here.

Registered Pharmacists who are members of FORSA working in Public healthcare areas outside of the Hospital/ Residential Care setting are welcome to apply for Associate membership as approved by HPAI Executive

Retired and Intern Hospital Pharmacist may also join. If you are an agency worker - please contact membershipHPAI@gmail.com before applying. Your membership application will be reviewed before full access is granted to the association.

Associate member - €50.00 (EUR) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 1 Jan 2026 No automatically recurring payments Membership open to Pharmacists who are FORSA members working in public healthcare outside of hospital/ long term care.
Associate membership may also be approved for individual hospital pharmacists who for specific employment reasons are not allowed to join FORSA.

Hospital Pharmacist member - non-recurring - €50.00 (EUR) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 1 Jan 2026 No automatically recurring payments Membership for Hospital Pharmacists working in an Irish Hospital who are also FORSA members

Hospital Pharmacist member - recurring - €50.00 (EUR) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Membership for Hospital Pharmacists working in an Irish Hospital who are also Forsa members - this option will automatically charge you for renewal - one less thing to think about.

Retired member - €5.00 (EUR) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st
Your membership renewal date will be: 1 Jan 2026 No automatically recurring payments Thank you for your service! We don't want to lose you as a member and you are welcome to stay in touch and attend any events!

Student Hospital Pharmacist Placement - €10.00 (EUR) Subscription period: 1 year, on: August 1st No automatically recurring payments Get a flavour of what the HPAI can offer hospital pharmacists as you start your hospital pharmacy career!
