HPAI Annual Education Conference 2024

The Hospital Pharmacists Association of Ireland (HPAI) annual conference is the best opportunity for Hospital Pharmacists to meet up with colleagues from around the country.

In a change to our usual format, 2024 we will try something different.

Special interest group meetings will now be held on Sunday freeing Friday evening for a more relaxed atmosphere allowing friends and colleagues to arrive at leisure and meet and catch up.

Saturday will see Registration opening from 8am and our Conference proceedings opened by Prof. Pat O'Mahony Chair Pharmacy Taskforce and Chair HIQA.

This will be followed by our Key Note speaker Prof. Sharon Pfleger  our invited guest who will discuss How Pharmacy can improve the use of medicines for patients and the planet.

This will be followed by our Oral Presentations and Pharmaceutical Exhibition.

The support of our exhibitions is key to the funding of HPAI and we encourage all members to go around every stand and interact with our exhibitioners, you never know what you might learn.

After lunch the AGM for HPAI members will occur at 2.15pm, followed by our afternoon workshops at 3.45pm.

The conference would not be complete without our  Dinner  with invited guests.  In a change to previous years poster awards will be announced at dinner and winners presented with prizes.

Our poster competition is available to all members who contribute to health research throughout the year and has showcased many examples of informative and innovative work carried out by Hospital Pharmacists to improve all aspects of patient care.
