In this years AGM the HPAI membership took an historic step and voted to approve the widening of categories of Pharmacist that can become part of the Association.
Associate membership is now open to Registered Pharmacists who are members of FORSA working in Public healthcare areas outside of the Hospital/ Residential Care setting as approved by HPAI Executive.
It is recognised that the role and expertise of the Pharmacist is evolving, in addition to work in acute and community hospital settings there is valued service in National, Regional and Local areas outside the traditional definition of hospital pharmacy.
We welcome Associate members from these areas and would hope to provide a platform where ideas and support can be freely shared! This will include invitations to the HPAI conference and other events during the year, special interest groups, access to the forums and the support of hundreds of members of the association.
