An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced pharmacist to play a pivotal role in our service for patients admitted to the TUH Emergency Department (ED).

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high quality clinical pharmacy service to the Emergency Department and input into the growing Emergency Care agenda.

The post holder will work closely both with our Pharmacy team and the multidisciplinary emergency department team to:

• Provide and further develop high value clinical pharmacy services for patients admitted to the ED
• Input into clinical guidelines, Policy Procedure and Guideline development and service improvement work.
• Contribute to pharmacy leadership and pharmacy staff development through supporting junior staff during rotations
• Work across the hospital-community interface to improve medicines management on transfer of care and improve patient safety.
