Mater Private Network Dublin has an exciting opportunity for a basic grade pharmacist.
We also invite interested M Pharms who are coming to the end of their 5th year to apply.
Mater Private Network implemented a full Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) in Sept 2024. In addition, all clinical areas are now using automated dispensing cabinets as part of the stock management system in clinical areas.
The successful candidate will join our clinical pharmacy team to support the optimization of medicines management in our EHR.
This is an exciting opportunity where we will leverage electronic prescribing and medicines management to improve pharmaceutical care and reduce the risk of medication errors. As part of this optimization we plan to move into pre-screening patients' home medications prior to admission in scheduled and unscheduled care, to improve medication safety.
We also plan to continue to automate medicines further by implementing a new pharmacy operating system, a new compounding software system and further automation in the dispensary.
