Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda and Louth County Hospital, Dundalk are seeking to form a Senior Pharmacist panel to fill current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration.
Due to the continual development of pharmacy services in both hospitals and a major capital development on Our Lady of Lourdes campus, we are seeking to recruit senior pharmacists who will play a key role in shaping the delivery of clinical, dispensary and oncology pharmacy services in the future. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a friendly structured environment supported by an excellent team.
There has been significant investment in pharmacy services on both sites over the last 3 years which include; the expansion of the pharmacy teams in both hospitals; the opening of a new pharmacy department on Our Lady of Lourdes campus with investment in one of the largest instillations of ward automated dispensing cabinets in Ireland. Potential future developments include expanding the current clinical pharmacy service to intensive care, paediatrics, oncology and other specialities.
