    Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

    Full Time – 37 hours per week

    Qualifications and Experience:


    • Registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy team to ensure best outcomes for patients
    • Ensure safe and effective use of medications
    • Participate in clinical and dispensary services
    • Contribute to ongoing service developments including the implementation of electronic prescribing and health information technology
    • Participate in ongoing collaborative research initiatives within the hospital with themes including Medication Safety, Optimal Medication use in Pregnancy/Lactation, Health Informatics, Maternal and Newborn Randomised Controlled Trials, Vaccination in Pregnancy and Venous Thromboembolism Prevention
    • There will be opportunities to gain experience in audit and quality improvement methodologies
