    Description

    Basic Grade Pharmacist

    • 2 x Indefinite Duration contracts: 
    • 1 x 1.0WTE (35 hours) Indefinite Duration contract 
    • 1 x 0.70WTE (24.5 hours) Indefinite Duration contract 
    • H.S.E. funded 
    • Based in Harold’s Cross

    Two exciting opportunities have arisen within the Pharmacy Department for enthusiastic pharmacists seeking to obtain hospital-based experience. The post holders will work with the pharmacy team in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service and will participate in service development as required. The successful candidate will provide pharmacy services to all areas of the hospice including dispensary, ward-based clinical services and medicines information services, including the OLH&CS-based Palliative Meds Info. Clinical duties will include responsibilities to the three specialties in the hospice; Palliative Care, Care of the older Person and Rheumatology.

    Essential Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (The Pharmacy Regulator) or be entitled to be so registered. Candidates expected to register this autumn are also invited to apply.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 6 months relevant experience including experience as a student or intern pharmacist.
