Senior Pharmacist
The Mater Private Network are looking for a highly motivated Senior Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy department. Here at MPN Dublin, we take pride in being at the cutting edge of private healthcare in Ireland. We are a JCI accredited hospital, which is the highest quality care standard in healthcare. Mater Private Network uses an end to end EHR for patient care and this post may interest candidates wishing to gain experience in this area.
This is a contract role until 30th June 2026.
Purpose of post:
To assist in the provision of a clinical pharmacy services for inpatients.
Alternatively, to work as a member of the aseptic compounding unit team in the provision of chemotherapy and associated treatments.
Requirements:
1. BSc (Pharm) or MPharm qualification with at least three years post graduate experience in the hospital sector.
2. Be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland or entitled to be so registered
3. Be registered with the Irish Institute of Pharmacy (IIOP) and maintain accreditation of their continuing professional development (CPD) standards.
4. Awareness / sensitivity toward patient pharmaceutical care needs
5. Good interpersonal skills
6. An ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
7. Strong organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
