Unfortunately the opportunity to work, be recognised and supported as a specialist pharmacist is not afforded to Hospital Pharmacists in Ireland. 

The HPAI is committed to ensuring that a fit for purpose career structure be implemented to give the capacity for the profession to develop. Recognition of specialist pharmacist roles (through title and pay) is one of the major platforms of the 2011 Pharmacy Review that the HPAI is campaigning to have implemented on your behalf
